Description of StarShoot Monochrome Imager II and LRGB Filter Pkg
This complete LRGB imaging package includes the StarShoot Deep Space Monochrome Imager II (DSMI II), Multiple 5-Filter Wheel, and the LRGB filter set at a considerable savings. The DSMI II utilizes a 1/2" format Sony monochrome CCD with a 752x582 pixel array for optimum sensitivity and resolution, and superior color rendition. The monochrome camera also excels for narrow-band imaging with specialized filters such as H-alpha, SII, and OIII. And it makes a highly sensitive autoguider. DSMI II has active thermoelectric cooling (TEC), which dramatically reduces electronic noise for better-quality images. The LRGB set features dichroic glass filters designed for maximum transmission. The color filters have an IR-blocking coating, and all filters are parfocal to eliminate the need for refocusing between exposure sets. Their anodized aluminum cells thread into the Orion® Manual 5-Filter Wheel for convenient filter selection.Telescope Accessories
