Description of SkyQuest XT8 Classic
Talk about bang for the buck, you won't find a better deal on a quality Dob. This is a no-longer-manufactured version of our SkyQuest XT8 Classic that has a 2" rack-and-pinion focuser (with 1.25" adapter). It's the model that thousands of observers have enjoyed for years. We have some left in our warehouse, so we are blowing them out at more than $100 off its regular price! This XT8 combines powerful optics with the ultimate in mechanical stability. The 8" parabolic primary mirror will tease out detail in deep-sky objects and deliver razor-sharp images of the planets and lunar terrain. The base is solidly built yet allows the optical tube to move effortlessly on Teflon/UHMW bearings. You just point and view. Comes with nav knob, 6x30 right-angle finder scope, two Sirius Plossl eyepieces, eyepiece rack, and hard dust cap. Step up to a big Dob now for a great price!
