My brother-in-law introduced me to these rubber eyeguards. I have been using them ever since - about ten years. They really help block out peripheral light and side view distractions. Their only weakness is that after about two years use the center portion of the thin edge tears where the wing attaches to the rubber eyepiece surround though the wing stays attached by the outer contact points. They are also hard to put on but I don't view that as a negative as the tight fit means they don't come off. I buy several eyeguards at a time and replace once they have torn. For me their short life span is outweighed by the benefits derived: making my bino use so much more enjoyable. Hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
